Accreditation Inspection Accomplished: An accreditation visit was planned for the degree programs of the departments of Entomology and Horticulture of PMAS Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi. With the prior approval of Chairman- NAEAC two separate and independent AIC’s of experts were constituted and visits were scheduled from April 13-14, 2009. An itinerary for two days visit was prepared and finalized with the consent of Dean Faculty of Agriculture. The Accreditation teams visited the Faculty Dean and Heads of Entomology and Horticulture Departments. As per schedule, the AICs also reviewed and discussed the Curriculum Design, Faculty,Infrastructure including Labs and Library. Meetings with individual Faculty Members and Post Graduate students were held to understand Faculty Development process, students support and courses offered by the respective departments. End of the visit meetings were also held with the Dean and HOD’s of the concerned departments.
